US client-dictator Musharraf behind Bhutto assassination....

February , 2011 -- Postscript: The Bhutto assassination

As we reported, US client-dictator Musharraf behind Bhutto assassination....

In a move that is yet another indication that the post-9/11 neo-con construct of a perpetual war on terrorism is collapsing, the head of Pakistan's Anti-Terrorism Court, ATC Judge Rana Nisar Ahmed Khan, has issued an arrest warrant for the former U.S.-backed Pakistani dictator, General Pervez Musharraf, who now lives in London and Dubai... Musharraf is wanted for his role in ordering the murder of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto on December 27, 2007, during an election campaign rally in Rawalpindi.

We were one of the first news outlets to report that the assassination of Bhutto involved Musharraf and his American government backers... The Pakistani court may want to extend their murder investigation to include former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney and senior officials of the U.S. National Security Agency, CIA and the Department of Defense.

On July 14, 2009, We reported: "According to our CIA sources, Cheney decided that every effort should be made to ensure that his friend, Pakistan President Gen. Pervez Musharraf, remain in power in Pakistan and not be replaced by Bhutto. Cheney authorized his secret assassination unit, the Infamous White House Murder INC, to hit Bhutto and then maximize his political gain by blaming the attack on 'Al-Qaeda.'

Cheney's hit on Bhutto also involved U.S. and Pakistani electronic surveillance of her communications. On February 21, 2008, We reported: 'The late former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto knew that all her phone conversations and e-mails were being monitored by Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) and 'other intelligence agencies,' according to her long time friend and co-author Mark Siegel. Siegel made his comments last night in a speech at the National Press Club highlighting 'Reconciliation,' a book he co-authored with Bhutto shortly before her assassination. Siegel said he and Bhutto were convinced that during her five years of exile in Dubai that all their phone calls between Washington, DC and Dubai were being monitored by ISI. Since ISI does not possess its own significant eavesdropping capability in the United States, Bhutto's reference to 'other agencies' is an indication that the US National Security Agency (NSA) was eavesdropping on Bhutto and passing some of the intelligence to the ISI and the government of Pakistani dictator Gen. Pervez Musharraf."

Musharraf has responded to the arrest warrant by declaring he will not return to Pakistan to face criminal charges against him. Musharraf, who is now accused of committing an act of terrorism in having Bhutto assassinated, now enjoys the protection of the British government of Prime Minister David Cameron, the USA and the leadership of the United Arab Emirates...
