The latest “rights group” to jump on Russia’s President Putin about Pussy Riot is RootsAction. Following the propaganda line that Washington has established, RootsAction’s appeal for money and petition signers states that the three Russian women were sentenced to two years in prison “for the ‘crime’ of performing a song against Russia’s president Vladimir Putin in a Moscow church.”

This statement is a propagandistic misrepresentation of the offense for which the women were tried and convicted.

I have expressed my sympathies for the convicted women, and as a member of Amnesty International and the American Civil Liberties Union, I support human rights.

But I do not support the use of human rights organizations in behalf of Washington’s propaganda.

If Putin or some other official has the power to commute the sentences, I hope he uses it. But I do not think that the concerted Western propaganda campaign against Putin encourages that result. Twice as many Russians support the sentence than oppose it.

If the sentence is commuted in response to the Western propaganda campaign against Putin, Russian nationalists will depict Putin as a weak leader unable to stand up to Western intimidation. The more internal dissension there is in Russia, the easier for Washington to marginalize the country and kick it out of Washington’s path to the overthrow of Syria and Iran by brutal human-rights-violating violence, such as Washington has applied to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya.

The State Department, the EU, and human rights groups are sufficiently politically astute to be aware of this fact. Yet, the propaganda continues.

As Putin has said, “we know what Comrade Wolf is up to.” But what about the human rights organizations? What are they up to? Have they been incorporated into Washington’s propaganda machine, like the Western media, or are they latching on to Pussy Riot as a visibility and fundraising issue for themselves?

Do-good organizations hurt for money, because compassion for others is not in abundant supply. Pussy Riot is a fundraising opportunity. If the Russian government succumbs to the propaganda, it provides an opportunity for human rights organizations to tout their influence. In other words, human rights organizations have independent reasons to align with Washington’s propaganda. Their alignment does not necessarily mean that they are conscious tools of Washington.

You can bet your last dollar that Washington, which dismisses as “collateral damage” the hundreds of thousands of women, children, and village elders murdered in Washington’s wars against Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Yemen, Pakistan, and Syria, is not concerned with the three Pussy Riot women’s 2-year prison sentence.

Washington has kept the American hero, Bradley Manning in prison for two years without a trial. Washington claims the power, strictly prohibited by the US Constitution, that “scrap of paper,” to hold US citizens indefinitely in prison without due process of law and to murder them on suspicion alone without due process of law. Does any sentient person really believe that such a government gives a hoot about a two-year prison sentence for three Russian women?

The Western media is silent about the collapse of the United States into tyranny. But, on cue from Washington, the Western media is loud about the dire plight of Pussy Riot.

For example, this from the UK’s The Week with First Post: “Beyond Pussy Riot: slow death of freedom in Putin’s Russia.” Louisa Loveluck introduces her report: “The Russian government’s distaste for freedom of expression has been in the headlines recently thanks to the trial and subsequent imprisonment of three members of punk collective Pussy Riot. But the persecution of these women forms only a small part of a much broader crackdown on civil liberties in President Vladimir Putin’s Russia.”

Has Putin, like the Amerikan presidents Bush and Obama, declared that he has the power to throw Russian citizens in a dungeon for life without ever presenting evidence in a court? No, he has not.

Has Putin, like the Amerikan president Obama, declared that he has the power to assassinate Russian citizens without due process of law? No, he has not.

Has Putin, like the Amerikan president Obama, declared that he has the legal authority to invade any country of which he disapproves and to overthrow its government? No, he has not.

So why is the UK’s Louisa Loveluck going on about a two-year prison sentence in Russia when the UK government, in defiance of international law and in obedience to its Amerikan master, refuses safe passage to Ecuador for Julian Assange, who has been granted political asylum? Even “authoritarian” China grants safe passage to those granted asylum.

The hypocrisy of the West, including the rank hypocrisy of human rights organizations, is nauseating. It makes one ashamed.

Julian Assange faces life imprisonment in the Ecuadoran Embassy in London because the puppet UK government is helping Washington make an example of what happens to journalists who dare to publish the truth about Washington’s mendacity and war crimes.

Is Washington paying Louisa Loveluck’s salary or is she, along with the First Post, simply terrified of Washington’s power? Or are Ms. Loveluck and the First Post simply going with the flow and avoiding criticism by not differing from the propaganda line?

No one will investigate, so we will never know.

Meanwhile in “freedom and democracy” america, at their Tampa, Florida, nominating convention, the Republican Party showed its true colors. It is a Brownshirt Party.

The tyrannical Republican machine refused to allow Ron Paul’s name to be mentioned or his delegate count to be presented.

Reports from the Republican nomination convention read like reports of Stalin’s takeover of the Communist Party or the Nazi takeover of the German state. Rules adopted at the convention eliminate any grass roots input. The Republican politburo is supreme. The party is subservient, and the members’ voices are eliminated. Mimicking Lenin, the Republicans declared that Republican rule “means neither more nor less than unlimited power, resting directly on force, not limited by anything, not restricted by any laws, nor any absolute rules. Nothing else but that.”

The Republicans are the party of “freedom and democracy.” The Republicans are the party most controlled by the neoconservatives, who are strongly allied with Israel’s far right-wing government and are most hostile to the US Constitution. The Republicans are the party that gave us the PATRIOT Act, the first massive assault on the US Constitution. The Republicans are the party that gave us 9/11. In a recent comments thread it was pointed out that there is a campaign to murder non-Wahabi Muslims in Russia to which someone added that "perhaps it should be Russian policy to seek the overthrow of the Saudi royal family. Perhaps not openly stated, but maybe the should start a covert program of destabilization against KSA. Surely there are some former KGB officers who remember how to do these things? At the very least in retaliation for each incident that occurs in Russia."

That is an interesting idea. Needless to say, I have no access to any decision-making on such topics which are of the prerogative of some key elements the Presidential Administration, probably a restricted sub-group of key individuals of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and which could task either the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) or the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU), or both, to engage in a destabilization campaign in the KSA. That is in theory. In practice, things are far more complicated than that.

First, it is crucial to understand that between 1988 and 1991 (Gorbachev years) and, even more so, between 1991 and 1991 (Eltsin years) the Russian security services were comprehensively smashed to smithereens. The politically correct expressions for this process of quasi-annihilation are "reformed" or "democratized". One could write an entire PhD thesis on the magnitude of this cataclysm, I will just offer an order-of-magnitude figure which is nothing more than my guesstimate of how much was destroyed. I would estimate that roughly 90% of the global capabilities of the ex-Soviet (and then Russian) security services were destroyed under the rule of these "democratic leaders".

Since Putin's election in 2000 this process has been reversed, there is no doubt about that, but the current Russian security services are still far from having recovered from the "democratic apocalypse" of the 1980s and 1990s.

Furthermore, I would personally argue that the security services of the former USSR were largely bloated and ineffective. I personally was involved in many types of "anti-Soviet" activities for many years and I can attest that the KGB was no nearly as formidable as some imagined it to be. Let's just say that Brezhnev's KGB was nothing like Stalin's NKVD/MGB. Sure within the KGB itself the branch tasked with Foreign Intelligence (the PGU KGB SSSR or First Main Directorate of the KGB) was an elite of a much higher level than the rest of the KGB, but nonetheless, even the PGU was not the all-knowing, all-understanding and almighty Ueber-spy-service some imagined it to be. Bottom line: when Putin came to power his task was not to simply resurrect the former KGB, but to design a new security establishment suitable for post-Communist Russia, an immensely complicated task which he had to tackle in extremely difficult, if not critical, circumstances.

Nowadays the major Russian intelligence and security services include the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), the Federal Security Service (FSB), the Federal Protective Service (FSO) and the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU). There are a few more services such as several departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), the Federal Border Service (FTS), the small and shadowy Security Service of the President of the Russian Federation (SPB), or the Anti-Terrorism Center of the CIS (ATTsSNG) which all have some intelligence and security functions, but the big players are obviously the SVR-FSB-GRU trio. While their areas of responsibility are roughly similar to the one of their Soviet era counterparts (the SVR's inherited the functions of the 1st Main Directorate of the KGB, the FSB inherited the functions of the 2nd Main Directorate of the KGB (and a few other Directorates), while the current GRU inherited the functions of the old GRU GSh SSSR) this is a misleading comparison because the fundamental missions of the modern SVR-FSB-GRU trio have changed dramatically.

This is hardly surprising. The USSR fancied itself as a global empire, a superpower which would challenge the capitalist world in every corner of the planet in a global zero-sum game. As for the Soviet security services, not only were they tasked with protecting the state, there were also tasked with protecting the Soviet regime and even the Communist ideology. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union and the subsequent democratic apocalypse, the Russian internal security services were given a dramatically different set of tasks including such things as the protecting the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation from foreign infiltration and home gown separatist movements, the struggle against Western-backed financial interests or the protection of non-Wahabi Islamic clergy from terror attacks. The good bad old KGB never had to deal with such tasks. As for the SVR and the GRU, they put the early detection of World War III on the back-burner and they turned to such matters as economic intelligence and lucrative weapons export contacts.

As for the "conceptual map" of the planet as seen by the Russian security and intelligence establishment it looks like this: the territory of the Russian Federation itself which needs to be protected from economic, social and political crises, the "Near Abroad" (countries of the former USSR) and the "Far Abroad" (the rest of the planet). The absolutely vital territory to defend was, of course, the Russian Federation itself. From this realization came the need to also get directly, if covertly, involved in the "Near Abroad" because developments in this "Near Abroad" directly and immediately affected the national security of the Russian Federation. The Georgian war of 08.08.08 clearly proved beyond any doubt that the entire realm of the "Near Abroad" had to be considered as a real of vital Russian interest. But what about the "Far Abroad", the rest of the planet?

I would argue that Russia made the correct call in deciding that it simply did not have the resources to once again become a global player. In other words, the Russian regime took a monumental, truly historical decision: it decided that Russia would never be an Empire again, that it would take the very deliberate decision to "restrict" itself to being a large but "normal" country whose security would be best promoted by an insistence on the respect for international law and a well-developed system of alliances in a (hopefully) multi-polar world in which other such "non-global" or "non-imperial" countries could join efforts and mutually assist each other.

It is quite true that most of us when we hear the words "respect for international law" or "alliances of equals in a multi-polar world" almost instinctively dismiss them as crude propaganda simply because we have heard them used over and over again the disguise or justify US imperial or Western neo-colonial policies and it is now very hard to believe ex-Communists like Putin when they use them. And yet it is absolutely essential to understand that these expressions are not a means to "sell" Russian policies but the instruments chosen by Russia to promote its national security interests. In other words, its not that Putin "believes" in international law, its that Putin believes that a policy of systematic insistence that international law be respected is greatly advantageous for Russia.

In this context, the option to embark on a campaign to destabilize Saudi Arabia or, for that matter, any other country, does not seem compatible with the overall national security strategy of Russia. That does not mean that the Russian regime would not like to pay back the KSA for its multi-billion dollar campaign in support of Wahabi terrorism in Russia - I am sure it would - rather it simply means that Russia does not believe that the appropriate response to the Saudi terror campaign would be to try to retaliate in kind.

The Russian anti-Wahabi-terror campaign is, I believe, organized around the following global national security policies:

Policies inside the Russian Federation:

a) Strengthening as much as possible the Russian internal security services on all levels, from the Federal FSB to the local rookie police officer on the beat in the streets of Makhachkala.

b) Seeking to identify and promote local leaders - such as Ramzan Kadyrov - capable of dealing with terrorism while developing the local economies.

c) Embark on a systematic campaign of support for non-Wahabi (traditional) forms of Islam in all of Russia, including the capital and all the major Russian cities

d) Developing and maintaining a very powerful military "fist" capable of immediate response (2 hours or less) to any major armed attack.

e) Adopting of a body of laws which strictly punish any forms of national, ethnic or religious discrimination, hatred or hooliganism and the systematic use of such law to punish groups or individuals (Russian and non-Russian) violating these laws.

f) Adopting a system of laws which will gradually "choke" and eventually bring down to a minimum the activities of covert US/EU/NATO assets in Russia, from the likes of Khodorkovsky to the Pussy Riots crazies, and including a whole galaxy of individuals, movements, organizations and parties, all of which, if taken together, would account to something like 1% to 2% (max) of the Russian population.

g) Covert internal efforts to prevent the appearance of a real, non Kremlin-controlled, opposition movement or party; the potential interest for such a real opposition to the current regime in power is probably rather strong as the real power-base of dedicated Putin supporters is probably only somewhere in the 40%-50% of the population (Putin got so brilliantly re-elected not so much because all of those who voted for him loved him as because of the fact that there simply is currently no credible opposition or alternative to Putin).

Policies in the Near Abroad

a) Economic support in terms of grants, credits or preferential pricing policies for those regimes in the Near Abroad who either are supportive of Russia or, at least, not directly hostile.

b) Security assistance in all forms for those regimes in the Near Abroad who either are supportive of Russia or, at least, not directly hostile.

c) Economic and political isolation of anti-Russian regimes in the near abroad

d) Development and maintenance of armed forces structured into four autonomous and self-sufficient "strategic directions" each controlling a sufficient number ground, naval and air forces to immediately respond to any local conflict or external aggression.

e) Overt political support for political parties or movement in opposition to the anti-Russian regime in power.

Policies in the Far Abroad

a) Using the Russian power at the UN Security Council to block any unilateral use of force or any unilateral intervention by the US Empire and its subsets (NATO, EU, Anglosphere, Israel, Colombia, etc.)

b) Insistence that any international crisis be handled by a representative segment of the international community (and not just US puppet regimes) and by all the parties to the conflict (and not just those supported by the USA).

c) Development of new international institutions such as BRICS, CSTO, SCO and others which can strengthen a multi-polar world and thereby oppose a worldwide US hegemony

d) Keeping the Russian armed forces in general and the Strategic Rocket Forces powerful enough to make a direct military aggression against Russia by anybody, including first and foremost the USA, absolutely unthinkable.

Policies common to all levels

a) Prepare for the inevitable global financial collapse by such means as reducing the amount of US Treasury holdings, dollars, Western stocks, etc, owned by Russia or Russian interests (many, if not most, Russian experts predict this collapse for 2013 already).

b) Re-orienting the Russian economy towards Asia while keeping Europe dependent on Russian energy exports.

c) Reducing as much as can be the current dependence of the Russian economy and state budget on energy and raw-material exports aboard by the revitalization of high-technology, aerospace, medical, industrial, information technology and other sectors of the Russian economy.

It is the fundamental mission of the Russian security and intelligence forces to support the implementation of all these policies on their respective levels, a far more complex and diverse task than that which was given by the Soviet leadership to the KGB.

Does that mean that Russia will never use KGB-style techniques to destabilize a regime or use covert operations against an enemy? No, not at all.

For example, it is likely that the SVR is keeping a very close eye on the political struggle between Saakashvili and Nino Burdzhanadze and it would be reasonable to expect the SVR to do whatever it can to assist her, but only covertly, of course. Similarly, I am sure that the contact between the Russian and Iranian security services are very close and that the Russian GRU has a very good idea of what Iran might, or might not, be doing in Syria or Bahrain. Finally, I would not be surprised at all if we learned one day that GRU agent had succeeded in infiltrating the CENTCOM's Joint Intelligence Center in Tampa Bay. But neither would I be surprised if I learned that the GRU has succeeded in infiltrating somebody in the J.P. Morgan Chase Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) or in the staff of the China Policy Department of the US Chamber of Commerce. These new targets reflect new realities and new missions.

What I do not see at all is the SVR or the GRU putting the time, effort and money to build up a covert network of agents inside such a tough target country like the KSA not because it fundamentally could not do so, it probably could, but because that would entail fantastic opportunity costs and a redirection of urgently needed resources from far more important priories. And even if there are still "former KGB officers around who remember how to do these things" I suspect that they would nowadays be used either as teachers in the various specialized academies or as advisers to the new leaders.

Ever since the crisis in Syria began I have been clamoring Urbi et Orbi that the Russians are not, repeat, not coming!! ... In these articles I was referring to a possible military intervention, but today I hope that I have explained why the Russian security and intelligence organizations are not coming either, at least not with any type of covert operation to support Assad or overthrow the House of Saud.

I will conclude here by saying that I am personally very happy that the Russians are not "coming". First, Russia does not have any more justifiable reasons than the USA to be policing the planet, regardless of whether it has the means to do so or not. I oppose all "global cops" - regardless of who they are. Second, nobody in the Middle-East has asked for the Russians to "come" and, frankly, even if they did, I don't believe that Russia has any obligation or even any logical reason to agree to such demands. Why? Simple: if Russia was in a deep crisis, do you seriously believe the Syrians, Saudis or Iranians would "come" to "help" Russia? Of course not! Third, the best Russia can do for the people of the Middle-East is take upon itself to shoulder responsibilities commensurate with the real, actual, Russian capabilities. What point is there to "come" only to be defeated? Why make empty promises of support which one cannot deliver upon? Russia did take a very clear and firm stance on Syria and it did that where it mattered the most, at the UN Security Council, where Russia could actually deliver on its promises.

Lastly, and unlike the ruling "1%" Western plutocracies who wage constant wars of choice against the clear will of their own public opinions, the Kremlin cannot ignore the fact that a vast majority of the Russian public would be categorically opposed to a Russian military or covert operation into a conflict so far from Russia or the Russian Near Abroad, and in defense of a very dubious ally like Assad. The fact is that the Kremlin is far more democratic than all the western "democracies", at least if by "democratic" we understand "ruling in accordance to the will of a majority of people".

Makes you wonder where the real "Free World" really is, does it not?

PS: come to think about it, there is one realm in which the Russians will use the good old "cloak and dagger" type of operations: the elimination of terrorist leaders in the Caucasus. In fact, the Russians openly admit, with some pride, that they killed many Chechen insurgency leaders including Dudaev, Basaev, Khattab, Maskhadov and many, many others. Dokku Umarov has, so far, succeeded in avoiding the Russian killer teams and I wonder if that is not because the Kremlin is more than happy to have him in the role of a "Russian Bin-Laden". Whatever may be the case, there is no doubt in my mind that the Russian security services will hunt down and execute any Wahabi terrorist leader reckless enough to enter the territory of the Russian Federation. I do not, however, believe that the Russians will attempt to kill them abroad even though western sources have claimed that the Russian security services were involved in the murders of Yandarbiev, which I do not believe to be true (nor do I believe that they were involved in the murders of Yamadaev for that matter). The worst instances of terrorism in Russia are currently taking place in Dagestan, which is were I expect the Russian killer teams to be the most active....

The problem is that most of the media *INSIDE* Russia is very anti-regime, some in a rabid fashion (Ekho Moskvy) some is a more subtle manner (NTV). So, again, it is hard for Russia to fight an offensive information campaign against Saudi Arabia at the time when it has to fight a *defensive* media campaign inside Russia.

Russia should find out who the biggest donors to Wahabi terrorism are and...assassinate them?...No need. Just call them out in public....

The Russians know *exactly* who pays for the terrorism in Russia, but Russia simply cannot openly accuse the House of Saud, much less so the MI6 or the Pentagon...


But I still think that Russia should ally closer with countries that support traditional Islam and oppose Wahhabism, and considering that the greatest opponents of Wahhabis are the Shia, it would be only natural to strengthen relations to Iran and have close contacts with Shia movements in other countries (Iraq, Lebanon, Bahrain, even with the Shia minority in KSA).

AMEN! And, as you well know, I have tried to push that argument forward in this blog as much as I could. And I can also tell you that I did the same with some of the right people to talk to in Russia in the past. There is one caveat to this concept. Not all Shia have the same conceptual clarity about Wahabism. In the case of Iran I would say that yes, absolutely, they "get it" and I know for a fact that they act on it. However, there are still many Shia who have what I call the "my Umma right or wrong" knee-jerk reaction which brings then to automatically side with their "fellow Muslim" against the "Kufar" even when that "fellow Muslim" is a crazed Wahabi maniac who will slit their throat at the first opportunity.

This is one of the reasons why the regime in Russia is putting so much efforts in traditional Islamic education: because only a lack of education will trigger the type of primitive knee-jerk responses we so much deplore.

But yes, only Iran "got" Chechnya right from day one. ALL the other naively fell right into the Anglo trap...

I have been pontificating about this stuff for many months and I don't think I am getting across what I am trying to say about this. Let me start again. This is not some freak side show in Moscow. This is Gene Sharp Central and they have ambitions no less lofty than to remove Putin and collapse Russia into civil war with these stunts....when I first heard about this Pussy Riot and FEMEN stuff in Russia, I instantly recognized it.

We had this in Yugoslavia. Specifically, these were the psyops used to bring down Milosevic. And this continued for several years until Slobo fell. When this began in Russia, I recognized the same identical I]Strickmuster as the Sharp/Soros methods used to collapse Yugoslavia. Successfully so. It is not one Pussy Riot or FEMEN but it is the entire vast network the elites engage - from such offensive groups to charming groups, to lawyerly groups, to sociologists and academics - there are many, many facets to this complex asymmetrical approach but absolutely all of it connects back to the same agenda - how to collapse a country. Color revolutions are part of the same set of Sharp teachings as the principles used by the Pussy Riot and other groups.

The part which I think is hard for Americans to understand about this is - what is Pussy Riot's or FEMEN's point? Are they trying to attract sympathy for the jailed band? No. The band is collateral damage. They will be handsomely paid off if they have to sit off a couple of years in prison. They knew this ahead of time and agreed. They are hardcore psyop agent provocateurs who are trained to provoke, get beaten up, jailed, stage hunger strikes for greater effect, get the whole world and western popstars to root for them as dozens of venous around the planet are booked for protests for these contrivances. They agreed to go to prison ahead of time. As Udaltsov does every couple of months, as chess champ Garry Vaynshtein-Kasparov made sure he got arrested when he bit the policeman this weekend in a Pussy Riot protest so he could oy-vey about it and go on hunger strike next... this sort of thing gets more and more social groups engaged in heated passionate tempers. We have seen the instigated paradigm fights over abortion and gay marriage in the US. This is a similar thing but much worse - the idea is to get the whole country heated up, fighting each other, disintegrating into many groups. once the social fabric shatters into social, cultural, ethnic religions political and sectarian strife...that is the end goal...not sympathy for Pussy Riot.

There are incredibly clever people behind such stunts who study the cultural fabric of a society and find the weak threads and begin tearing at them. In Serbia, we had Popovic and Marovic (who are the original Otpor CIA team who are active to this day, no longer as rent-a-rebels but as teachers. They have a color revolution school in Belgrade where they teach how to do this stuff. - Here is a video link about this. These guys are a global mobile hard-core psyop hit squad which knows how to incite everything from protests to street fights and social chaos - they started in Belgrade during the Milosevic days, worked in dozens of countries including key roles in ALL Arab Spring countries and the engineered protests - all the way to OWS as the link above shows. This is the elite of Soros rent-a-rebels. I misplaced the link but there is a great video in YouTube which show their lifestyle - 5-star hotels, private jets, exotic locations and dream vacations in the poshest tropical places on earth all catered to them by Team Soros for their 'work' - and lots of work assignments in dozens of countries, either leading protests or teaching and coaching the native rebels how to collapse their country for the Rothschilds.)

Their methods are varied - everything from funny, perky, charming which puts a smile on young people's faces (Popovic and Marovic protested in Belgrade by getting a crowd to beat metal trash cans with sticks - it was a deafening roar because they got civilians to join and bring countless metal cans. The police appeared and everyone backed off - the police "arrested" a lot of trash cans and the joke was on Milosevic's police state being stupid and totalitarian for even arresting trash cans - this is how to get a hundred thousand college students to laugh and participate enthusiastically in a Soros protest without knowing they are being politically managed by Team Soros. And there are other methods as well - once the enthusiastic crowds have been secluded with the cute, charming, funny and artistic stuff (in the Balkans, the best popstars were hired and given rebel lyrics written for the occasion to sing and they had every young person in the country singing along - this is powerful stuff..) once the crowds of support get so big, NED and the Soros groups ratchet up the pressure and the they bring out the aggressive ones in the streets which graduate to smashing store windows and setting car tires on fire and attacking police aggressively and leading a large crowd to imitate this stuff...Team Soros then graduates to pushing it over the edge and inciting mass chaos which leads to bloodshed and total instability. There is a direct path between things like Pussy Riot all the way to the "opposition" in Syria - it is all part of the same engineering from beginning to end.

They keep turning up the heat on this. Until a society collapses. You will see this happen in Russia if you watch this Pussy Riot and FEMEN stuff because everything else in an engineered collapse of a country attaches to it.

Pussy Riot is tugging at social fault lines such as primary attacks on the Russian Synod (link) - attacks on Putin, attacks on the largest cultural groups and their ideology, sense of identity...the Synod plays a very big role in this. The west has always had a lot of misconceptions and stereotypes about us Eastern European communist countries. CIA scripted evangelizing hordes of church leaders in the west so bemoan the 'war on Christianity' in European communist countries and deliberately distorted the view of what religion in European communism actually looked like...There is virtually no awareness in the west that we have always had a very strong church - Orthodox in Russia - in Yugoslavia, it was both the Catholic underground and Serbian Orthodoxy (Muslims were the least religious of our groups as a mainstream with only tiny groups like the Sandzak Donmeh and splinters of Wahhabis sitting in Yugoslavia since the days of the ottomans who sent them to us as homesteaders).

Throughout communism, people clung to their religion. It was just strictly separated from the state. But it survived communism everywhere. People fiercely tied their very ethnic and cultural groupthink definition of their own identity to their religion (which is also always based on ethnicity because our ethnic groups all have a default religion based on ethnicity). So insulting the orthodox church in Russia is a massive insult on the cultural and personal pride and even identity of pretty much every Russian...the old folks are pushing back against these Pussy Riot cultural injuries as is the church. Putin is not nuts for reacting so strongly with this 'hooliganism' jailing. He has no choice. If he does not kick some collective nasty girl butt now and lets Pussy Riot get away with it, he will forever lose the respect of the conservative establishment and common man and woman on the streets who want this Pussy Riot nonsense nipped in the bud and nipped good because they are shocked, offended and grossed out beyond words and want to make sure this does not happen again. How they would be so shocked and offended - look at the pictures Wayne posted and you will understand that a society reacts strongly to this.

Then Putin locks them up - and the choreographed west erupts in loud protests. Pussy Riot creates 'art" wails Madonna and half a dozen big western name pop stars sing backup chorus on her protest lines.... The Pussy Riot displays are ugly and offensive but study what they are doing with this because this is the recipe on how to collapse a government, remove its leader, polarize the hell out of society and get everybody fighting mad and not giving in. Those pics are a brilliant find Wayne dug up. It is a study in Soros, Sharp and all the mindfuck talents NED and friends come up with and this is deadly stuff.

I wrote about this Pussy Riot behavior for a while now - I described the public fornication and girl shock jock appearances which shocked and rocked all of Russia for some time now. But the pics Wayne posted tell this story and speak for themselves.

Putin satisfied the majority in Russia by putting these women in jail. He had to. He had no choice. He would have had far more than half of Russia enraged and screaming for vigilantism if this 'hooliganism' had not been stopped cold. The only place they can put them to keep from having any more public graphic porn displays is jail. Verzilov and Tolonnikova (formerly from Voina, she is a Pussy Riot main player now) whom Wayne mentions copulated with her 9 months pregnant 4 days before giving birth in a museum in Moscow.

There is one more episode as an example - this is the baby of Tolonnikova who had publicly copulated before birthing him - link. The child was injured when his stroller was slammed against the wall. It is noteworthy that Pussy Riot mama actually made sure her child had at least some injuries - because this is now also sold as proof that they are being abused. As long as the members survive, they accept injury to themselves and their children, incarceration - they will be paid very well for this. And they make sure these things always happen in front of cameras.

The group also painted a 65 meter long penis on a bridge. (They would get public indecency, damaging public property and vandalism charges in the US for this but we in the west are pretentiously busy criticizing Russia for oppressing nasty-porn 'art" by these people.) Yes, stuffing an entire whole chicken into Pussy Riot member Natalia Sokol's vagina in front of many cameras and then waddling out of the store with a chicken stuck up there and stealing it surely is art. Russia is terrorized by these tactics. This is Sharp, Soros, NED and CIA work. This is only being ratcheted up more and more and there is a lot of fighting going on in Russia over this - most people want it gone, these women locked up where they don't see daylight any time soon.

Young kiddies think this is sooo coooool and that they are part of some revolutionary democratization they themselves can force upon Russia by only supporting Pussy Riot - this is the seduction factor toward youth such psyops have. Soros has a lot of young groups on the ground also who lead them toward support of such behaviors. He buys youth groups and puts employees into offices who then lead youth groups in protest in support of things. The network is huge.

Soros hires only the best and brightest in every country he targets. I will write about the Yugoslavia experience another time - two of my best friends worked for Soros - one of the 'human rights" watch groups (in Croatia, it was Helsinki Committee - in Russia it is Helsinki Group - all these things have a chapter in each country and are under Soros' OSI.

My friends in the Soros network were - a female judge from Sarajevo who was a refugee (yes, judges have to run in a war, too) and glad to have any job and this was a well-paid job with benefits for Soros. And the other was a young poli sci professor out of Zagreb who had become the best known folk hero name because he became a guerilla fighter leader in the war, was injured in the war, wrote a dozen books and became an icon. I know him well because I brought him to the US and talked Baylor Hospital into pro bono surgical care after he got blown up by a hand grenade and I lived with him for a few years off and in 2 countries in those years - that was a deep insider glimpse into the infinitely vast Soros operations in the country for me...he has a cabinet position in the government now - this is the type of people Soros hires for his work on the human rights end...only the best and brightest people who end up leading the country - where Soros wants it led to.). My friends in the system honestly at the time thought this was really cool work and did not know they were used for a very evil Rothschild agenda. It was 1991 and we were all young and naive. My 22-year-old daughter is constantly back and forth between the Bay Area and Zagreb (she just returned from there this weekend) and all of HER brightest friends in Croatia, Bosnia and into Kosovo are 20-something very bright, very high-paid Fulbright scholarship kids - the next CIA generation on the ground. Soros controls everything. Every damn thing. He does this globally.

They don't just copulate in public. Voina (which is a twin operation of Pussy Riot) has thrown Molotov cocktails at police cars some months ago already - they are ratcheting it up. They will cause a lot of dead people in the streets before long by full intention following the Soros recipe. I know these recipes. I watched them for years from inside of Soros' organizations just by having friends in key position inside of virtually identical operations in Yugoslavia when it was targeted by Soros.....

Israel and the United States lobbied strenuously to defeat a recent vote by the UN Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)’s World Heritage Committee in St. Petersburg, Russia to name the Church of the Nativity, the birthplace of Jesus, as an endangered heritage site. However, the 21-member UNESCO world heritage body voted 13 to 6 with two abstentions to approve Palestine’s first request to the international organization as a full member. The Church of the Nativity was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. The criticism of the vote was intense from the United States and Israel. The inseparable duo of Israel and the United States cut off funding to UNESCO after the Paris-based UNESCO voted to admit Palestine as a full member state last October. UNESCO lost more than one-fifth of its financial support as a result of Washington’s and Tel Aviv’s action. Although the St. Petersburg vote was secret, some nations later showed their hands. France admitted that it voted in favor of declaring the Bethlehem church endangered, resulting in the standard charges from Israel’s worldwide lobby that France is historically anti-Semitic with the familiar refrain of Alfred Dreyfus’s name being chanted by the lobby. Dreyfus, a French Jewish army officer, was tried for treason in 1895 and imprisoned on Devil’s Island on the charge that he was a spy for the Germans. Dreyfus’s case became a rallying cause for leading Zionists of the time and he was later exonerated and restored to his military rank. Joining France to vote for the Palestinian request were Algeria, France, India, Iraq, Malaysia, Mali, Mexico, Qatar, Russia, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. The six nations voting for the Israeli position were Colombia, Ethiopia, Estonia, Germany, Japan, and Switzerland. The two abstentions came from Cambodia and Thailand. It is well-known that the Vatican and the Greek and Armenian Orthodox churches, which have shared responsibility for Jesus’s birthplace, have long protested against Israel’s land grab of church property in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and in Israel proper. Ironically, it was the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) that rallied its members to support the Palestinian request to protect the Church of the Nativity as an endangered World Heritage site. The following press release was sent out by the following the UNESCO vote: The Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has welcomed the inclusion of the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem among World Heritage Sites during the meeting of the UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee in St Petersburg, Russia. He described this move as an important achievement for the preservation of heritage and historical sites in Palestine and for their protection against instruments of destruction, which the Israeli occupation practices constitute. The Secretary General extended gratitude to all Member States that voted in favour of the resolution and commended the efforts deployed by OIC Member States in this regard. The OIC member states that carried the day for Jesus’s birthplace were Algeria, Iraq, Malaysia, Mali, Qatar, Senegal, and the United Arab Emirates. Palestine is a full member state of the OIC. The UNESCO decision recognized that the birthplace of Jesus was threatened by the presence of Israeli troops, something that the Israelis and their American backers vehemently rejected. Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has, over the past several years, forged an alliance with Christian evangelicals in the United States, sometimes resulting in heated arguments with orthodox Jewish members of his own Cabinet who are suspicious of the proselytizing engaged in by evangelical Christian missionaries in Israel, particularly among Russian Jewish immigrants. However, Netanyahu has rejected the orthodox rabbis protests. At one point in time during the George W. Bush administration, Netanyahu explicitly told the rabbis that Christian evangelicals represented Bush’s political base and that Bush was a total backer of Israel on all major issues. Therefore, Netanyahu reasoned that he would do nothing to alienate the evangelicals, especially those who are known as “Christian Zionists.” However, Netanyahu and his Likud Party backers made an explosive pact. On one hand, the Likudniks have curried favor with Christian fundamentalists whose interpretation of the Bible varies greatly from Catholicism, Christian Orthodoxy and Coptic Christianity, Anglicanism, Lutheranism, Calvinism, and other faiths borne from the Protestant Reformation. On the other hand, Likud, which enjoys the support of orthodox Jewish parties like Shas, whose rabbinical leaders mock Jesus as the son of a prostitute and a heretic who was Satan’s spawn, regards Christian holy sites under Israeli occupation as Israel’s business. The anti-Christian rhetoric that emanates from Netanyahu’s political allies has incurred the wrath of established Christian religions that realize that by claiming the final say over the administration of Christian holy places like the Church of the Nativity and other Christian shrines, disregarding Palestine’s role entirely, these sites are in as much danger as Sufi Muslim sites in Timbuktu and Gao in Mali are from Saudi-funded Wahhabist Muslims. Archbishop Pietro Sambi, the Apostolic Nuncio to the United States and the former Vatican envoy to both Israel and Palestine, who died in the United States from complications resulting from surgery, was known to be a harsh critic of Israel’s grabs at church property in the Holy Land. The Franciscan Order of the Catholic Church also raises funds for churches in the Holy Land every Good Friday, reminding Catholic congregations around the world that the church is under extreme pressure in Palestine and Israel. It is quite clear that, for the Franciscans, the threat to the church is from Israel. Therefore, it made sense for Palestine to raise the issue of the protection of the Church of the Nativity before UNESCO. Israel now fears that Palestine, acting on behalf of the mainstream Christian faiths, will raise protection issues for other Christian holy sites on the West Bank and in east Jerusalem, as well as for Muslim holy sites, including the Dome of the Rock in east Jerusalem, which sits atop the destroyed Second Jewish Temple, which a number of Zionists and their Christian Zionist allies hope to rebuild as the Third Jewish Temple. The rebuilding of the temple would place the Dome of the Rock and the nearby Al Aqsa mosque, Islam’s third holiest site, in jeopardy. As for the United States, it was quite instructive that the U.S. ambassador to UNESCO, David Killion, was the point man to strong-arm member delegations to vote against the Palestinian resolution and support Israel. Killion is a former chief aide to two rabidly Zionist chairmen of the U.S. House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee, Tom Lantos and Howard Berman. The nightmare for Netanyahu and his allies are that Palestine will replace Israel as the guarantor of the sanctity and security of the Christian holy places and the knowledge that Israel threatens Christian holy places will gain currency among Christian evangelical sects. Such an eventuality could drive a wedge between sects like the Southern Baptists, Pentecostalists, and other fundamentalist faiths and Israel’s powerful lobby in the United States. Such a development could cost Israel much needed political support in southern and western states. Therefore, Israel and pro-Israelis in the Obama administration, including Killion, Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg, and Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, the ZIO-CIA assassin of the most infamous White House Murder INC, in the Levant Jeffrey Feltman, will stop at nothing to prevent UNESCO from being used as a platform from which Palestine and the Vatican can announce that it is Israel that poses the greatest threat to Christian holy places in the West Bank and east Jerusalem.

Farnborough: U.K., France Cancel Plans for UAV Announcement ...

LONDON — Hopes have been dashed that Britain and France could announce progress on an alliance to develop UAVs at this week's Farnborough International Airshow.

Britain's defense procurement minister, Peter Luff, said the announcement of a medium-altitude, long-endurance (MALE) UAV risk-reduction contract and an unmanned air combat vehicle demonstration deal is being delayed as the new French government looks at future commitments.

“France is pausing for breath to look at what it can afford. I suspect their white paper process will be as painful for the French Ministry of Defense as [defense cuts] have been for the U.K. and U.S.,” he said.

“They are looking at their UAV strategy but have assured us they are still committed to work together on these programs. We entirely respect the new administration's decision.”

France is expected to take the wraps off a new UAV strategy later this week.

The study contracts were to have been awarded to BAE Systems and Dassault Aviation. The companies are the industrial partners leading the UAV work.

Expectations the two study contracts could be announced at the show were raised by briefings held seperately by the companies in the run up to Farnborough.

The companies cancelled a joint news conference scheduled for July 10 to give details of progress in their partnership.

A spokeswomen for BAE said she still expected the study deal to go through in the “next few weeks.”

Britain and France signed a bilateral defense treaty in late 2010 aimed at advancing cooperation in operational and industrial sectors.

France recently signed a more limited deal with Germany covering industrial cooperation. One of the areas of possible cooperation is MALE UAV development.

The letter of intent with Berlin opened up the possibility of widening the bilateral deal with Britain to include Germany.

France is also keen on involving Italy in cooperative defense programs.

The British are wary of increasing the scope of the UAV program until they have the essentials in place with France.

Hot Air Day is upon us. On July 4 hot air will spew forth all over the country as dignitaries deliver homilies to our “freedom and democracy” and praise “our brave troops” who are protecting our freedom by “killing them over there before they come over here.”

Not a single one of these speeches will contain one word of truth. No speaker will lament the death of the US Constitution or urge his audience to action to restore the only document that protects their liberty. No speaker will acknowledge that in the 21st century the Bush/Obama Regime, with the complicity of the Department of Justice, federal courts, Congress, presstitute media, law schools, bar associations, and an insouciant public have murdered the Constitution in the name of the “war on terror.”

As in medieval times, American citizens can be thrown into dungeons and never accounted for. No evidence or charges need be presented to a court. No trial is required, and no conviction.

As in tyrannies, US citizens can be executed at the sole discretion of the despot in the Oval Office, who sits there drawing up lists of people to be murdered.

Protestors exercising their constitutionally guaranteed rights to freedom of speech and freedom of association are attacked by armed police, beaten, tasered, tear-gassed, pepper sprayed, and arrested.

Whistleblowers who report the government’s crimes are prosecuted despite the statute that protects them.

US soldier Bradley Manning, who allegedly gave Wikileaks the documents revealing US war crimes, including the video of US soldiers in a helicopter gunship enjoying themselves murdering civilians walking along the street as if the soldiers were playing a video game, has been arrested and held in conditions of torture while the government tries to invent a case against him.

According to the US Military Code, US soldiers are required to make war crimes known. However, the law on the books provided no protection to Bradley Manning, and conservative Republicans whom I know are foaming at the mouth for Manning to be executed for letting out the truth. The truth, what is mere truth compared to the “exceptionalism of the great american people”? America has carte blanche to do whatever it wishes to the unexceptional peoples. Manning deserves to die, they say, because he took the side of the oppressed and not the side of the amerikan oppressors.

After the Swedish prosecutorial office dropped the case against Wikileaks’ Julian Assange, ruling that the charges of rape had no foundation, another prosecutor, many believe at the urging of the US government, demanded Assange be extradited from England in order to be questioned. Normally, extradition only applies to those who have been charged with a crime and for whom a warrant has been issued, which is most certainly not the case with Assange. But, of course, if Washington wants Assange, Washington will be sure every law is broken or bent until they get him. The Swedish puppet will do the exceptional country’s will and be paid well for its service.

Peace activists in several states had their homes invaded by FBI, computers and personal records taken, and a grand jury was convened in an attempt to indict them for supporting terrorism by their protests of Washington’s illegal wars, wars that are war crimes under the Nuremberg standard established by the US government itself.

None of this will be mentioned in July 4 patriotic speeches. The inebriated masses will be wrapped in the flag and return home full of the hubris that despises lesser foreigners, such as Muslims, Arabs, Chinese, and the French.

And no dignitary will mention that those that “we are killing over there” are mainly women, children, village elders, and aid workers. The US troops seem to specialize in soft targets like weddings, funerals, kids’ soccer games, farm houses, and schools.

Recently Washington reduced the “collateral damage” count by declaring every murdered male of military age to have been a Taliban fighter or terrorist. Obviously, Washington has no way of knowing whether they were or not, but Washington’s declaration is intended as a green light to murder Afghan males of military age.

Currently, Washington has wars underway, or occupations, or is violating the sovereignty of countries with drones and/or troops in seven Muslim countries, and is

arming rebels in Syria. All of this is being done without the constitutionally-required authorization by Congress, allegedly the people’s representatives. What a joke!

In short, in “freedom and democracy” america, the people have no voice and no rights and no representatives.

Yet, this huge deficit of democracy and liberty will pass unmentioned by July 4th orators.

The crimes against humanity, the dismantling of the US Constitution and the lawlessness both domestic and international that define 21st century amerika are the results of September 11, 2001.

Washington’s account of 9/11 is the wildest conspiracy theory known to mankind. The absurdity of Washington’s account is as follows: A few Saudi Arabians without any government’s backing or that of any intelligence service outwitted not only the CIA and the FBI but all 16 US intelligence agencies, even the Defense Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency, together with the intelligence agencies of all of Washington’s NATO allies and Israel’s Mossad, which has infiltrated every radical Muslim group.

These humble Saudis of no known distinction or powers also simultaneously outwitted the National Security Council, NORAD, the Pentagon, Air Traffic Control, and caused Airport Security to fail four times in one hour on the same morning.

In other words, every part of America’s defenses failed at the same moment.

Think about that for a minute. If such a thing had actually happened, the President, Vice President, Congress, and media would have been demanding to know how such universal failure of every aspect of the national security state was possible. An investigation would have started immediately, not over a year later as a result of pressure from 9/11 families who could not be bought off with monetary payments. Such complete and total failure of every aspect of US security would mean that americans were not safe one single minute during the 40-year stand-off with the Soviet Union. At any moment the Soviets could have utterly destroyed the US and we would never have known what hit us.

In a real investigation, the 9/11 evidence would not have been illegally destroyed, and the investigation would have been conducted by experts, not by government agencies assigned a cover-up and by political hacks. The NIST report is abject nonsense. It explains nothing. It is a fabricated computer simulation of a non-event. The co-chairmen and legal counsel of the 9/11 Commission later wrote books in which they stated that information was withheld from the commission, the military lied to the commission, and the commission “was set up to fail.” Yet, these astounding admissions by the leaders of the 9/11 Commission had no impact on Congress, the presstitute media, or the public. All heads were in the sand. Please, whatever you do, don’t make us emotional weaklings face the facts.

More than one hundred firefighters, police, first responders, and building maintenance personnel report hearing and experiencing scores of explosions in the twin towers, including powerful explosions in the sub-basements prior to the collapse of the towers.

Distinguished scientists, authors of many peer-reviewed scientific papers, report finding unreacted nano-thermite in the dust from the towers, tested it for its explosive and high-heat producing ability, and reported the unequivocal results.

Seventeen hundred architects and engineers have testified in a petition to Congress that the three World Trade Center buildings were not brought down by fire and airplanes and have demanded a real scientific investigation of the cause of the buildings’ destruction.

Yet, we are left with the paradox that scientific opinion based on careful examination of the remaining evidence has been designated by the ignorant and unwashed as a “conspiracy theory,” while Washington’s absurd conspiracy theory stands as the truth of the event.

Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth headed by high-rise architect Richard Gage has driven the final nail in the coffin of Washington’s concocted conspiracy theory with its new film: “9/11: Explosive Evidence -- Experts Speak Out,” and they do speak out.

Scores of top level demolition experts and experts on the design, engineering, and construction of high rise steel structures provide the scientific, architectural, and engineering reasons that the three World Trade Center buildings came down only with the assistance of explosives that were placed and timed to remove the powerful structural support and permit the sudden collapse of the buildings. As the buildings were engineered and constructed according to known and tested principles that absolutely prevent rapid collapse, fire and structural damage that two of the three skyscrapers suffered from airliners could not possibly have caused the sudden disintegration of the three buildings.

I saw the film in Atlanta on July 2. Atlanta was a stop on the 32-city premier of the film.

The film was shown at the 7 Stages Theater on Euclid Avenue, the former Euclid Theater to which 65 years ago we kids used to ride our bikes to see Tarzan battle giant reptiles and ride elephants to victory over evil black tribesmen or evil white hunters, or to watch Randolph Scott bring justice with his six-shooter to a town ruled by black hats, or to witness the brave American soldiers liberate Europe from the Nazis. We never dreamed that we, residents of the “land of the free” would be menaced by a gestapo police state.

America’s descent into a gestapo police state could be arrested, perhaps, if americans were not so ignorant of science or were capable of even realizing that what they see with their own eyes when they watch videos of the twin towers’ destruction is buildings blowing up, not buildings falling down from structural damage. Building 7’s destruction is the total and complete picture of controlled demolition.

At the end of the powerful film, psychologists explain why the majority of a population lacks the mental and emotional strength to confront highly disturbing facts. A government that so thoroughly spies on its population as Washington does obviously knows its population’s profile and sees nothing but weakness and fear that can be manipulated.

What fact is more disturbing than the likely fact that 9/11 was a false flag event designed to provide the neoconservatives with their “new Pearl Harbor” in order to launch Washington’s Wars of Hegemony in the Middle East, and from there to Iran and to the nuclear powers: Russia and China, which are being encircled, as Iran has been, with US military bases?

What we are experiencing is a replay of the French Revolution, this time on a world stage. Napoleon, the inheritor of the French Revolution, conquered Europe several times in the effort to expand the New Order in France to all of Europe. The French Revolution was the first claim of a New World Order, but at that time the world was Europe.

Washington’s “wars of liberation” are wars of world hegemony and wars of massive profits for the military/security complex. The combination of power and money that are the motives for Washington’s concocted wars are hidden motives, wrapped in the flag, patriotic sentiments, and fear of dark-skinned demonized Muslims.

Can Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth or any truth break through and liberate americans from the artificial reality created by government liars and a corrupt presstitute media, or are americans doomed to expire in the Matrix that has been created for them?

Perhaps the hope is that the economy will collapse under the would-be hegemons, and people who will not fight for principles and their liberty will fight for their economic survival.
